The Lubar Auditorium presents group Zero.
Join this historic event to honor the German art group Zero. The group formed in Düsseldorf in the late 1950s under the leadership of Heinz Mack and Otto Piene, both of whom will be in attendance. Their work, based on principles that grew from the Bauhaus, introduced ideas that developed into Kinetic art, monochrome painting, performance art, earth works, and more.

The German-American Experience
The Max Kade Institute will present a couple new courses open to the public starting in February. The Max Kade Institute is dedicated to promoting scientific and technical progress and to further the peaceful coexistence of nations. These particular courses focus on the German American Experience.
The Max Kade Institute in Wisconsin at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is part of the College of Letters and Science.
